• ISTT Resident Company Manufactures Super Advanced Femtosecond Short Pulse Laser

  • Feb. 3, 2020

A resident company at Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) has succeeded in making the super advanced Femtosecond Short Pulse Laser with the incorporation of a Titanium Safire. This technology is included amongst the top 10 Hi-tech technologies of the world and to date only a few countries including Germany, America and Russia have also been able to produce this device.

This device couples a Titanium Safire with the KLM method resulting in the production of a unique Femtosecond Short Pulse Laser with a 35 femtosecond pulse width, 100 MHz frequency and 1 Watt energy production. The manufactured device has the ability to change the laser diameter in measures of nanometres (NM) in addition to taking super-fast samples.

This technology can be widely used in the medical field and especially in surgeries that require NM precision.

This new device was unveiled at the 20th Research, Technology and Tech-market Exhibition by Dr. Mansour Gholami, Minister of Science, Research and Technology and Dr. Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology.

Novin Laser Co. started its activities and settlement at ISTT in 2018. Its main field of activity is in the manufacturing of welding and engraving lasers. This company has also managed to produce high tech advanced lasers that can engrave and cut materials under water with great precision. The C.E.O of this company, Dr. Mousavi has also been recognized as the best technopreneur of 2019 during Iran’s National Week of Research and Technology.
